In boxing, the jab is known as the most important punch as mostly everything starts with the jab. It’s not just a single shot, it’s a strategy, a setup for shots / combos, and a tool that defines great fighters.

🥊 Improve timing, accuracy, and punch efficiency

  • Improve your timing with shadowboxing drills, using feints then attack drills on the bag as well as having a timer buzzer and through jabs as soon as the random timer buzzer goes off.

  • Improve your accuracy on the bag ( have small tape targets to aim for ), mitts, best one is shadowboxing infant of mirror with targets to aim for like number stickers placed randomly around the mirror.

  • Build your stamina with your jab using strength / bag work dills.

Option 1: 30 sec jab - 30 sec rest - 1 min jab - 1 min rest - 2 mins jabs etc

Option 2: bench press to help explosiveness of pressing heavy DB infront of chest.

Option 3: 3x 3 minute rounds - Jab only ranging from slow / fast / powerful jabs.
