Do I need prior experience to start boxing training?
No experience needed, Most of my clients come with little to no experience.
Is boxing good for weight loss?
Yes. Boxing is a high intensity, full-body workout that burns calories and can assist with weight loss.
Is boxing enough for a full-body workout?
Yes, at FAST FITNESS we add in core work, and conditioning drills as well as boxing.
How many calories does a boxing workout burn?
Anywhere from 400 - 800+ per hour depending on intensity of session planned.
What should I eat before and after a boxing workout?
Before: Light carbs + protein (e.g. banana + peanut butter).
After: Protein + carbs for recovery (e.g. chicken + rice).
Does boxing help with stress or mental health?
Yes. Hitting the pads can be a great stress release, and the focus required can help with anxiety or ADHD.
Can boxing increase my confidence or self-defense ability?
Absolutely. While fitness boxing isn’t self-defense training per se, improved awareness, reflexes, and strength can help.
Can kids or seniors do boxing training?
Yes, at FAST FITNESS we welcome all ages from 8 and above with under 15s accompanied by an adult.
