
Week 1: Assessment & Foundation
During week 1 we will look to set baseline on better technique, focusing on the Jab / Cross through pad work exercises.
Mastering the footwork basics using cone drills ensuring proper balance for stance with good guard.
Finishing this session we will work on strength exercises as well as fitness drills using pad work.
MASTER BOXING BASICS IN 6 WEEKS
Week 2: Defence & Distance
During week 2 we will work on defence drills ( Slips, Rolls, blocks return combos etc ) on pads.
Working on how to return punches after blocking / catching shots, as well as managing distance control.
Finishing this session we will focus on upper body strength drills + core drills with a mix of HIIT exercises.

Week 3: Combinations & Angles
For week 3 we will start to add punches together to work on combinations mixing in footwork
Mixing in combos with angle changes and counter shots
Finishing this session we will work on conditioning exercises to improve fitness using Erg work as well as the Sled
Week 4: Pressure & Volume
For week 4 the goal will be to start working on defence drills on the back foot as well as how to cut off people in a ring
For the strength part of this session we will focus on full body power exercises ( cleans, resistance band punches, kb swings etc )
To finish this session we will work on power punches on the pads pushing through the legs and hips.

Week 5: Strategy & Adaptability
On week 5 we will work on how to compete against different stances, movement tactics etc.
We will also work on random combos on pads to work on mind sharpness
For the strength part of this session we will work on explosive movement ( squat jumps, jumping lunges, burpees etc )
Week 6: Peak Week
For the 6th week of this block we will work on everything we have worked on with stuff to improve on
Working on combinations mixing in with defence drills
For the conditioning part of the session we will a fitness test to test your fitness on the ERGs
